Daher TBM advertise the TBM series as being fast and efficient. I present you proof of that claim.

On a charter flight to Nantucket yesterday we had very good tailwinds. At cruise we had 444 knots over the ground and 8.8 mpg fuel efficiency. Then in the descent the groundspeed touched 500 knots. That is 575 mph or Mach 0.65. We made it from CHO to ACK in 1:12. Not too shabby!

It was a bit of a slog on the way home but altitude management and some help from ATC made it quick and smooth. The passengers were happy with the experience.

Pay attention ya'll!

Green Dogs Unleashed has started a fund raiser to help support our next flight down to Asheville to pick up a plane full of dogs and cats! This will go towards their care and preparation down there with Esther Neonatal Kitten Alliance as well as their vetting and care here before being fostered out.

I'll be flying back down on Wednesday midday with my copilot Lauren Lucey to bring down another 1000 # of food, medication and supplies for them and loading up with animals for their freedom ride!
