When planning travel, especially outside of the US, it is ESSENTIAL that you purchase travel insurance (including medical)!

While we were enjoying a boat cruise this morning in Aruba, someone on the boat beside ours had a heart attack. They had to be transported via boat and ambulance to a medical facility.

While I pray that this person makes a full recovery, what most people don't know is that a medical emergency while traveling can be financially devastating and may prevent you from getting the care needed. Most health insurance plans don’t cover international medical expenses, so travel insurance can fill that gap and cover costs like emergency care, surgeries, or even medical evacuation!

So please, please, PLEASE make travel insurance a priority while planning for your vacation!
