Hollywood Studios has some of the most exciting rides at Disney, but there is a clear #1 ride for us...Slinky Dog Dash. This ride is so much fun for kids and adults and is always on our must do list! The height requirement is only 38 inches so even most preschoolers can enjoy it too. But, do you want to know the secret to THE BEST ride experience? Time for a ride after dark and ask for the back row... 🤫 don't tell anyone we told you.

👋🏻 Hi there! I’m a new face around here so I wanted to introduce myself.

I’m Ashlee, owner and Travel Adviser here at Hooray Travel Day. When I’m not planning vacations you’ll find me enjoying time with my husband Chris and daughter Blaire. I love summer, traveling to new places, animals (we have two kitties Gordie and Pearl), sushi and a good margarita.

Some of my fondest childhood memories were made at Walt Disney World and Disneyland California. Now that I’m a mom myself, sharing the magic✨ of Disney with my own family means the world to me.

Travel is my love language and helping families plan dream vacations brings me so much joy. Breakout the Princess dresses and crowns!

Akershus Royal Banquet Hall is reopening November 4!

All the princesses are returning as well! They usually include (and can vary): Snow White, Cinderella, Belle, Princess Aurora, and Ariel.

I’m so excited to see another character meal making a return and highly suggest checking our Akershus in Epcot. Especially if you have a princess lover in your family!

Reservations open on October 24. Are you excited to dine at Akershus? 👑

It’s National Watermelon Day!

Watermelon might be my all time favorite fruit. When I was pregnant with my youngest daughter I ate at least 2 watermelons a week. No joke, ask my husband.

While I still LOVE watermelon, my current favorite way to enjoy it is in my favorite adult beverage, the Watermelon Hightower. You can grab this delightfully refreshing drink at Nomad Lounge located in Animal Kingdom. They also offer a non-alcoholic option, Kiama Mamma, that is equally as yummy!

Wishing I was at Volcano Bay right about now…

I’d grab a lounge chair in the shade, then go for a nice long float on the Kopiko Wai Winding River. After my float I’d grab a drink and lounge for a bit before hitting all the waterslides.

This concludes my Volcano Bay daydream.
