Join us on October 9, 2026, for two instructor-led training sessions designed to strengthen safety, compliance, and service quality within your transportation operation.

SESSION 1
Advanced Mobility Device Securement (AMDS)
10:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m.

SESSION 2
Certified Stretcher Operator (CSO)
1:00–3:00 p.m.

💲Cost: $400 per person, per class

Operators may register for either session or attend both. Space is limited.

Patient care doesn’t take a holiday.

Yesterday was Labor Day, and like many people, we expected to take the day “off.”

Then we received a same-day call from a social worker at a Charlotte-area hospice center. She was in urgent need of transportation for a patient and had exhausted her other options.

We didn’t have any drivers scheduled or on call—but when someone needs care, sometimes you find a way.

I reached out to one of our team members, explained the situation, and without hesitation, he graciously agreed to come in and complete the transport.

That’s what this work is about.

Behind every transport request is a real person—a patient who needs to get somewhere safely, a family trying to navigate a difficult moment, or a healthcare professional doing everything they can to coordinate care.

Patient care unfortunately doesn’t stop for weekends or holidays. And when we can be there, we will be.

A special thank you to our team member who gave up part of his Labor Day to make sure this patient was taken care of. That commitment is what makes Express Med who we are.

I haven’t posted in a while, but that doesn’t mean I haven’t been working. 👀
Behind the scenes, I’ve continued learning, building relationships, and finding ways to make Express Med better.

Most recently, I attended NEMTAC Transform 2026 in Orlando, FL—my first time attending the annual conference hosted by the Non Emergency Medical Transportation Accreditation Commission.
And it was time well spent.

I connected with transportation providers, industry leaders, technology companies, brokers, and other professionals who gave me an even greater perspective on where the NEMT industry is headed.
As a first-time attendee, one of my biggest takeaways was the value of connection—learning from other providers, exchanging ideas, exploring potential partnerships, and bringing new ideas back to Express Med.

So yes… I’ve been quiet on social media.
But I definitely haven’t stopped working.
Now it’s time to get back to sharing the journey.

Today’s stretcher transport came with a reminder about perspective.
When we arrived at the nursing facility, a CNA asked us, “Why aren’t y’all wearing your uniforms?” She was expecting an ambulance crew and simply didn’t realize we were a private stretcher transport company.
I could’ve taken offense to the question — but instead, I chose to give context instead of emotion. And honestly, that applies to life far beyond transportation.
Sometimes people aren’t being rude or disrespectful… they just don’t have the full picture yet.
At Express Med, professionalism, patience, and compassion matter just as much as the transport itself.

Like many entrepreneurs, my journey into medical transportation started from personal experience.
Watching my parents navigate medical challenges together opened my eyes to a much bigger issue — so many seniors and families struggle with reliable, compassionate transportation during some of life’s hardest moments.
That’s when I adopted a simple mindset: “See a problem, solve a problem.”
What started as a personal realization became a mission to serve others with dignity, compassion, and care through Express Med.
