🚑Lifeguard Ambulance Service - Charleston, South Carolina

❓Have you thought about a career in EMS as a EMT?
💲 Do you want to earn a paycheck while attending class?

Train TODAY to Save a Life TOMORROW!
The eligible candidate will be hired as an employee and compensated a training wage while in attendance at our EMT Academy in Charleston, South Carolina. The Academy is a 16 week program.

Qualifications:
Be at least 18 years old
Provide proof of High School diploma or GED
Have all required immunizations (or complete screening)
Successfully complete pre-employment requirements, including:
👉MVR check
👉Criminal background check
👉Drug screening
👉Respiratory fit test
👉Physical agility test

There is absolutely no cost for the class and all books, tuition, fees and uniforms will be paid by Lifeguard. Upon successful completion of the class, all tests and state certification, the employee will be transferred to an EMT position with an increase to the EMT compensation rate.

Our EMT students got hands-on experience today learning one of the most important and unpredictable skills in emergency medicine — childbirth!👶🚑

From emergency delivery procedures to newborn care, these future EMTs are building the confidence and knowledge needed to handle critical moments when every second counts. We are proud of their dedication to learning and preparing to serve our community with compassion and professionalism.

Great job to all of our students and instructors for another engaging training day! 💙👏

Never swim alone

Use approved flotation devices only
Swim in designated areas

Always wear a life jacket
Remain seated in small watercraft
