Post and Courier Boycott
In light of a series of articles published in the Post and Courier that have been a direct attack on the Black community and its leaders,
filled with bias reporting and inaccuracies, we are now calling on Low Country residents and businesses to refrain from any economic activity with the Post and Courier and any of its affiliated companies. This will include both printed and digital media subscriptions, print and digital advertising , legal and funeral notices and any activity which supports and furthers their discriminatory practices.

We are asking you to support us in our efforts until the Post and Courier complies with the following:
• No longer use Steve Bailey as a columnist, reporter, or in any other capacity
• Print a retraction highlighting the inaccuracies and unfairness demonstrated by past columns directed at Black, elected officials.
• Diversify the editorial staff to include local people of color.

Applying economic pressure is a tried and true, time-tested tool in the fight for equality. We are only employing this tactic after exhausting all other methods to resolve this matter.
