My daughters were figure skaters which meant lots of travel for our family to camps and competitions, not just here in the United States but also to Canada and Europe. I was the one to research everything to plan out our travels to all these wonderful locations. Other family members saw what I was doing and occasionally would ask if they could tag along or if I would assist them in their travel pl
ans. My daughters would often say “Mom you ought to be a travel agent, you like to do all that research and planning for our trips.” So that kinda set the seed. When the girls were in high school we decided that we weren’t going to celebrate Christmas & birthdays with gifts of things they really didn’t need. Instead we would plan a family vacation where we could create memories that would last a lifetime. That is when we got addicted to cruising and visiting the Caribbean, especially Aruba! Hence, lots more travel to plan. The girls are now in their mid to late 20s and still want to do our family trips! I retired a few years ago after 30+ years teach high school math and one of my co-workers one day said I want to talk to you about something you might be interested in. When we finally met she explained that she had been a travel agent for years and knew of my family's love for travel and suggested that I might try the business. So many years after my girls set the seed we decided to start into the travel agency business and created Faucey Fam Travel. So now I can share my travel expertise with not only my family, but others who enjoy traveling the world as well.
