DRIVER RECRUITER
Due to unprecedented growth over the last three years, Asphalt Transport Inc., Channelview, TX, is in need of a DRIVER RECRUITER to help in the recruitment and solicitation of COMPANY DRIVERS and OWNER OPERATORS for our TX\OK\MISS\TN\LA\AR markets. This opportunity is for an experienced recruiter that will share ATI’s values and growth potential and help take us to the next level.
Asphalt Transport Inc. is a premier transporter of asphalt, hot liquids, crude oil and fuel oils. In addition, our specialty products division transports l**e oils, LNG and other clean products. We have over 200 tank trailers, ranging from insulated hot asphalt trailers to crude oil and fuel oil trailers, as well as specialty trailers equipped to handle your clean products.
Job Description
The Driver Recruiter is responsible for identifying, sourcing, and recruiting qualified Class A company drivers and owner operators with HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements.
The ideal candidate will have experience in working with human resources, transportation, and safety divisions. You will be responsible for executing daily tasks including recruiting, interviewing, on-boarding, and creating a positive business environment for long-term retention of company drivers and O\O
Job Responsibilities:
• Recruitment and solicitation of company drivers through various advertisement mediums and lead generation.
• Manages the necessary sourcing and advertising of openings.
• Develops and maintains a full understanding of the driver labor market.
• Promote a positive business environment and become a source of guidance for applicants.
• Works with Operations management to identify staffing needs and requirements.
• Develops networks with external sources to continually improve sourcing opportunities.
• Develops and maintains relationships with drivers through a variety of sources, electronically and face to face.
• Maintains and promotes DOT compliance during recruitment and hiring process.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Capacity to multitask and meet any required deadlines.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree preferred and/or equivalent experience of 3 years.
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects/tasks in a fast pace, changing environment.
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
• Strong prioritization skills, multi-tasking skills, and works with a sense of urgency.
• Passion for technology and continuous improvement.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations.
