Below are examples of some of the measures customers may require of Landstar-approved third-party carriers and their truck operators when handling the customer’s freight transportation and deliveries:

Wear a mask, wash your hands and/or avoid contact with staff/workers
Stay in the cab of your truck when not actively loading and unloading
Respect instructions that may be given at the facility gate or other entrances
Disclose the origin and route you’re taking before arriving at the facility, including any stops
Sign declarations or disclosures attesting to your recent travel
Sign declarations or disclosures attesting to whether you’ve been in close contact with someone diagnosed with COVID-19
Report experiencing any cold or flu-like symptoms in the past 14 days
Submit to on-site health screening
