You don’t go anywhere without your trusty companion… we understand! But if you’re planning to hop on a bus, there are just a couple of rules:

Pets are allowed on the bus in an escape-proof container. Working service animals and service animals in training that meet Federal Transit Administration (FTA) criteria do not have to be in a carrier. Any animal may be denied service if it is unruly, aggressive or threatening.

COMING SOON to Mineral, WA: a brand-new EV charging station.

Join us on Friday, May 8th at 11:30 am for a ribbon cutting to celebrate the opening of this new facility.

The new Mineral Mobility Hub was made possible thanks to a powerful partnership between the Economic Alliance of Lewis County and Lewis County Transit. Our efforts are moving forward with the support of a $50,000 Tourism Regeneration Grant and $241K in WSDOT state grant funding.

This project will bring EV charging and accessible public spaces to the community— boosting sustainable tourism, supporting local businesses, and improving connectivity for residents and visitors alike.

Together, these investments are helping position Mineral as a model for rural innovation, clean transportation, and economic growth.

We hope to see you here next Friday for the ribbon cutting ceremony!

Listen, we all have a little baggage and Lewis County Transit doesn’t judge. But if you’re bringing yours on board our public transit, please make sure it fits on your lap or beneath your seat, so there’s room for everyone on our buses.

Limit packages and carry-on items to what you can carry in one trip and keep on your lap. Carts for carrying packages must be collapsed and stowed on the lap or beneath the seat.
