Today we use a lot more “horse power” than we did in 1900 but the objective has remained the same. Fun Fact: Chris Corrigan Moving was started using horse & wagon because not even the Ford Model T had been released yet. In the late 1800’s and early 1900’s “in-home” funerals were very common. Chris Corrigan Sr. (My Great-Great-Grandfather) a fireman at the time was known for his incredible strength and would get asked to help hoist caskets through windows on higher floors for people in the community. Once he realized he could use his unique strength as a way to earn extra money for his family, the Corrigan Moving journey began.
