The December meeting and Christmas Party of the IA-MO Gas Engine Club was held December 6 at La Fiesta Restaurant in Centerville, Iowa, presided over by President Joe Puffinbarger. After a great meal, the group voted on the feature engine for the club's July engine show (date and location yet to be determined). The winning engine was Stickney, so get your engines ready! Then, a 'reverse raffle' was held, with the LAST name drawn winning a $50 bill. The lucky winner was Jon Dorman, who quickly handed it over to his wife, Judy. Lol! Duane Gorrell showed the group an interesting item and had people guess what it was. Then the man/woman gift exchange took place follwed by cake and lots of visiting. A fun time was had by all! The next time the group will meet will be at the Eddy Brother's Crank-up in May. Members will receive an invitation when that time comes. At that time, the election of officers will take place.
