Tulsa Ports Tulsa Ports encompasses two separate 2,500-acre industrial parks and multi-modal inland ports. The Port has 2,000-acre industrial park.

These two sites (the Tulsa Port of Catoosa and the Tulsa Port of Inola), have 70+ companies and over 3,000 employees. The Tulsa Port of Catoosa is a multi-modal transportation hub with access to barge, rail, and truck transportation. les a wide variety of commodities. Tulsa Port of Catoosa logistics experts are available to advise shippers as to which mode of transportation is best suited for their particular freight shipping needs. Tulsa Port of Catoosa Quick Facts:

- One barge can hold as much freight as 15 rail cars or 60 truckloads. Barge transportation costs 1/3 the amount of rail and 1/5 the amount of truck.

- Moving cargo by rail generates 30 percent more carbon dioxide than by barge and 100 percent more emissions by truck than by barge.

- Without the Tulsa Port of Catoosa, Oklahoma would lose at lease least $2 million each day.

- Inland barges carry about 15 percent of the nation's freight at the lowest unit cost while staying environmentally sound.

- A variety of cargo is shipped on the waterway including agricultural products, iron, steel, petroleum products and fabricated equipment.
