Bottom Line Up Front (BLUF): The USCG is requesting that Kingman Boaters complete a National Recreational Boating Safety Survey. Your participation is critical to shaping future maritime safety initiatives and resource allocation.
The United States Coast Guard and our national safety partners rely on accurate data to support and protect the recreational boating community. We are currently conducting the National Recreational Boating Safety Survey to better understand localized boating habits, safety practices, and the evolving needs of boaters on the water.

Why Your Participation Matters:
• Targeted Safety Improvements: Survey responses help identify the specific safety needs and hazards of local waterways. This allows for better-focused patrols, hazard mitigation, and community educational campaigns.
• Resource and Funding Allocation: Data collected directly influences the distribution of federal funding for boating infrastructure (such as public docks, ramps, and channel dredging) and safety grants to state and local levels.
• Policy Shaping: Participation ensures that the voices of active, local boaters are accurately represented when state and federal maritime regulations are reviewed or updated.
