Good news from my friends at Memorable Costa Rica today! Colorado on the list of US states welcome to visit Costa Rica starting Sept. 15th. Doesn’t it sorta feel like we’ve been invited to a VIP only party?!

I was in Hawaii in March before the 14-day quarantine began. Seems like a million years ago! The Hawaiian islands are now set to start allowing visitors without quarantine beginning Sept. 1st, with proof of pre-travel negative test.

While I was touring the beautiful St. Regis Aspen I was lucky enough to run into their resident pup, Kitty. He, of course, is trained to greet guests and pose for pics in front of the hotel. He also appears at the special sabering of the champagne ceremony each day in the lobby. What a sweetie he is.

Today is a big day! After almost 4 months closed, the Magic Kingdom opens today. I’ve been impressed with all the new safety measures Disney has taken to welcome guests back.

This morning marks another milestone in the phased reopening of Resort, as Magic Kingdom Park and Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park welcome guests for the first time in months. Check out the Disney Parks Blog for updates throughout the day. ✨ http://di.sn/6181GpcxR

Whenever I do a hotel site inspection I get to see the top level suites. This one at the W Aspen is brand new and not even open yet. I’m calling it the Austin Powers suite and it is seriously so cool. Yes, that’s a round bed and there’s a DJ booth with records. Yeah, baby!

Disney World just announced their re-opening plan! Magic Kingdom & Animal Kingdom parks set to open on July 11th and Epcot & Hollywood Studios on July 15th!

Lately my clients have told me they just want a trip to look forward to during this stay-at-home time when vacations were canceled and life seems to be on hold.
It reminds me that part of the joy of traveling is in the planning! Even if the trip is off in the distance, we can all use that dream of future travels and adventures! So I will keep booking and planning and dreaming...
