There will be a celebration of life for Jimmy this Saturday 07/12 at 2pm at the Fleenor shop. I’m sure he would love everyone gathered round sharing stories and memories. There will be food provided. Bring your favorite drink and let’s toast to the man 🍻

Still not quite sure of the proper words to say at a time like this but let’s give it a shot. Yesterday the world lost Jim Felker, a heck of a man, and the bedrock of Fleenor Brothers for years. While he was certainly one of the most talented fabricators or mechanics I’ve ever known what truly was truly special about the man was his willingness his heart for others and willingness to help. Whether your wife had run out of gas on the interstate or a truck was broke down in the middle of the night there was never any hesitation, no sighs,no grumbles he simply wanted to help. For a man with already such a large family he somehow managed to grow his family beyond belief and was Uncle Jimmy to so many of his adopted nieces and nephews across our area. He was never the loudest one at a gathering, never the first to grab a camera and want to take pictures. He simply wanted to be in the presence of those he cared about. No words could ever adequately express my gratitude for having him in my and my families life. Please keep his family in your thoughts and prayers as he was one of a kind and will leave a heck of hole to fill, also thank you to his family for providing so many pictures that make you smile thinking about him. I know the good Lord was waiting for you with a cold Pepsi or possibly a bottle of Bush and a copy of today’s paper to read.. Rest easy Uncle Jimmy until we meet again.
