Bay City nonprofit BaySail will sell its schooner Appledore IV and suspend operations for the 2026 season as the organization’s board evaluates BaySail’s future direction, fleet needs and long-term sustainability.

If you plan on launching your boat at Port Sanilac DNR Launch, bring your boots.
Currently the launch docks are submerged. Assistance has been requested, and hopefully they can get this corrected as soon as possible.

(Update) Docks are now high and dry!

Hopefully this weekend the weather will be conducive to installing some sailboat race markers.
Last year's plan of floating lines looks promising, we have another plan for this years rigging.
