As the COVID-19 (the Coronavirus) continues to impact all aspects of our daily life and business, I pray that you, your family, and loved ones are all safe, and in good health.
These are difficult times, but I have faith that the measures set in place by the Government, and the precautions adopted by us will help mitigating the effects of this pandemic, and minimize the impact it has on both our operation and your business.
It is important for me to emphasize on the below points;
We continue to receive all deliveries without any interruption. That is Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 4.30 PM.
Our receiving yard operation continues to provide forklift assistance as usual.
We continue to extend to you our dispatch assistance if you have any hard time contacting you regular drivers.
We are still committed to move your cargo in the fastest fashion by continuing to be proactive monitoring the port status, and by using our long-term relation with all containers’ providers to secure you the space you need to all destinations
I understand that it might be a hard time for you to operate and conduct business, but I invite you to take advantage of the historic drop in cars’ prices at all auctions, and the abundant inventory available for you to purchase.
As I continue to handle your business as a priority, I care about the safety of my employees and their families. This is why I have implemented the below procedures. Please take a moment to read them carefully;
Key staff will be available during business hours, but they will not be available for direct contact with walk in customers, messengers, or drivers.
Only Cedars employees will be allowed inside the office till the social distancing requirement is lifted.
Drivers, as well as any COD payment, will be handled by the receiving crew. The receiving crew is well aware and trained to provide your drivers with a smooth transaction. Please take a moment to explain this procedure to your drivers.
Many of our employees are working remotely, but with the access that allows them to continue to service your account. Please use the email as the preferred method to communicate with them. In case of an urgent request, you can always reach us at the offi #310-608-0306.
We would kindly ask the customers to avoid visitation till further notice . If you need to drop any paperwork or payment in person, please speak to the receivers during the business hours, or use the mail slot to drop your paperwork outside the business hours.
We continue to receive FedEx and all mail carriers as normal, so please consider using them more often when it is convenient to you.
Again, I hope that these restrictions will not last for long. I will keep you posted and updated on any changes.
Meanwhile, please stay safe, take care of yourself and your family, and reach out to me if you have any question, or you need any further assistance.
