Are you looking for something to do? Head to Twelve Oaks for live music Sunday June 14th. They always have our popular cinnamon-sugared pecans for sale, but we'll have a tent selling all our pecans. Don't tell Ralph, but I really wanted to sip wine and listen to music.

We're thrilled to learn about the various ways our customers use our pecans! A customer in Tucson, AZ, shared a photo of Bourbon Balls made with our pecans, a perfect treat for the Kentucky Derby. Bourbon balls are a classic Southern dessert consisting of crushed vanilla wafers, pecans, cocoa powder, and bourbon, formed into balls and coated in powdered sugar or chocolate. These no-bake confections feature a creamy, cookie-crumb base flavored with bourbon and sometimes corn syrup, chilled before coating. Allowing the ingredients, especially the bourbon-soaked pecans, to meld and mature is essential for the rich flavor.
