is one of the oldest moving companies in the state of Pennsylvania. The firm is a fourth generation family owned business.Services were started in 1887 by James Calvin Zeigler by hauling mail over Sterretts Gap to Perry County in a stage coach. As people requested their belongings and other items hauled back to Carlisle, the firs team of horses and open wagons began his moving business.Since that
time Zeigler's has come a long way. Today the company includes tractor trailer units and straight trucks complete with all the equipment to move anything from household goods to office and plant equipment. They provide local and long distance, commercial, residential and military moving services. Their modern warehouse has palatalized storage, a full service record storage center, and a Senior Citizen Relocation Division. Although the firm has its own interstate and intrastate moving rights, as an Agent of American Red Ball Transit, Co. they can provide services to all 50 states and foreign countries. They were recently honored with an award for sixty years of service. As Zeigler's continues to grow and become more diversified, they are still committed to providing the best services to the Carlisle community and surrounding areas.
