Two years ago, we started a journey together to upgrade your rescue tools, one or two tools at a time, each year.
Today, I want to give a big THANK YOU to the members of Union Fire Company #1 of Leesport for continuing to invest in your rescue equipment and, most importantly, in the safety of your firefighters and the communities you serve.
It’s been great watching this department build and improve its rescue package over the past two years. These upgrades don’t happen overnight, they’re the result of planning, trust, and a commitment to having the right tools when they’re needed most.

We’re excited to see Montgomery County, Maryland Fire & Rescue begin the process of transitioning from the Milwaukee M28 platform to the Genesis Rescue Systems SLI Battery platform.

West Shore Bureau of Fire has added a new Genesis Rescue Systems tool to their rescue arsenal every year. It’s been awesome watching this partnership grow year after year.

Price matters—but performance matters more.

Lately, I've noticed a growing trend in the fire service: purchasing decisions are often driven by the lowest price instead of the capabilities and performance of the equipment.

Rescue tools aren't just another line item in a budget. They're life-saving equipment. The true test isn't what they cost on the day they're purchased. It's what they can do on the worst day of someone's life.

Three years ago, I started the journey of helping the City of York Fire Department transition from their previous rescue tools to the Genesis Rescue Systems. Today, I had the privilege of returning to deliver two more Genesis rescue tools for new apparatus, continuing that partnership.
It was especially meaningful to make this delivery to one of the oldest continuously operating fire stations in Pennsylvania and one of the oldest in the United States. Rex building, built in 1888, is 137 years old, and the original horse stalls are still preserved in the back of the firehouse. It's an incredible piece of firefighting history.
Thank you to the members of the York Fire Department for your continued trust and confidence in Genesis Rescue Systems and Howell Rescue Systems It's an honor to help equip those who protect their community with the tools they rely on when lives are on the line.
