This Hyde came in with a cracked and broken plastic shoe on the bottom, exposing damaged chines and trapping water between the plastic and the hull, which caused even more damage. Once the plastic shoe was removed, it was clear where water, mud, and debris had been trapped, along with the damage underneath. And of course, the stubborn glue had to be ground off before repairs and a fresh respray could be done.

This Clacka came in for an exterior repair job and a little makeover with a little gel coat color changeup.

Update on restoration boat. The interior is sandblasted and the stud mounts for the pedestal boxes are glassed in, and they have a honeycomb reinforcement glassed in where the rotten wood was. The boat has been flipped over, and exterior work will be completed before any more interior work is done. I forgot to take pics of the boat before it got sanded. The boat has been sanded, and exterior repairs have been started.

This is a major restoration boat I am working on at the moment. Complete exterior and interior. Pretty much all the hardware on this boat was rusted and seized up and had to be cut off. All the interior parts are cracked and will get finished in a "B" finish. The pedistal boxes have rotten wood on the inside that will get reglassed. The floor mounts for the boxes were also rotten and will as well get reglassed. And randome crackes on the inside will get rebuilt and glassed as well. The inside was completely stripped and sand blasting will start so we can get the repairs done and get it resprayed. Stay tuned for more updated!!

Clacka repair. Chines and bottoms were repaired and resprayed. exterior and interior "A" parts were buffed, sealed and waxed. The anchor rope area around the foot release was delaming and was patched back up and the rear casting deck had the gel coat chipping away and was redone.
