"Hope all is well. Just dropping you a note to say the boat has been holding up well. Going on 10 years now & she is solid & safe. We have been on dozens of trips to the Bahamas and the Keys & got caught out in severe weather more than once.
A few years ago I got caught in a very heavy following sea & nearly pitch poled the boat, I would have sunk & most likely drowned if it was any other boat. Hope business is doing well take care."

"I owned one built in 1987 and operated it as a USCG Inspected 12 passenger dive charter boat on Florida West Coast..
My boat had a hardtop and a 3208T Cat 320 hp before a marina lift truck dropped it off the gentry, and after a refit it had a pipe half tower and a 420 hp 3126.
The boat is unbreakable, benefits greatly from having 400 hp, your divers will like it a lot because it is so easy to work off. Softer ride than a 30' Island Hopper.
16 knot cruise with the 3208
19 knot cruise with the lighter 420hp cat and reduced weight from loosing the hardtop. Boat likes a 4 blade prop.
This boat drafts a lot of water and you won't like running in shallow inlet.
I liked the hard top boat much better than my version 2.0
I will never again own anything that says Cat on it.
Mark Smith is great guy and always treated me fairly. I owned 3 different Delta boats.
A customer I used to dive with owned a 28 'Delta Convertable that was factory built with a pair of OMC Sea Drives.
He replaced these with a bracket and a pair of Honda 130 HP outboards. This boat fast cruised 26 knots with a diver payload and would plane up with 20 people on it just making runs out to Anclote Island. Unbelievable except I was on the boat and saw it."

". . .Just mention you might be selling yours and it will be gone in a heartbeat. We had 6 of them (delta dive boats) at a dive resort I built and they perform flawlessly and just won't die. Cape Canaveral / Cocoa Beach Fishing Report
INSHORE – The Flounder (Flounder, Southern & Flounder, Gulf) are moving in and the bite has been increasing this week. Snapper (Snapper, Mutton & Snapper, Gray & Snapper, Lane) are all hiding in the port while Snook, Common are hiding along the rock piles on the jetty or at the lighthouse. OFFSHORE – Weather conditions are tough this week. No one has been able to get offshore in the rough water, so no reports have come in at this point. The sporadic Dolphin bite is still expected to continue once the weather calms down. Anglers who decide to head out can check our TIPS feature which provides additional information and suggestions to improve the catch. BAIT REPORT – Lots of Mullet and Pilchards are running and Sardines are beginning to make their way in.
