What we are- we are a company that provides routine service work for several local agencies in our area along with a large retail customer base that we provide routine maintenance, brakes, suspension, tire sales and mechanical repair.

We also have a side of the business that specializes in restoration work of older vehicles from repowering drive trains to complete frame off restoring body, interior and power.

We do everything in house with one of the few full service machine shops left in the area.

If you are an individual that has experience in any of the fields and would like to expand into a something more come see us we would be happy to talk.

Here’s a little history for your Friday!

In 1960 Gene Wrestler and Robert Fouts purchased the Chevrolet dealership in Canton, across from what’s now White Oaks. The dealership was first known as Bob and Gene Chevrolet until it because Gene Wrestler Chevrolet in 1964.

In 1972 Gene Wrestler and Art Hossler became partners, and the name was changed to Art and Genes Chevrolet, Oldsmobile, Cadillac. In 1986 Chrysler, Plymouth, and Dodge were added, due to Millers going out of business, which is our current location! This is the location we know today out on North Main!

In 1990 Gene retired and it became the Art Hossler Auto Plaza we still know today!

The truck pictured has a Mark III conversion. Which is a custom built vehicle where the Mark III Conversion Company added luxury interior features and sometimes exterior enhancements to a Dodge full size van or truck! These conversions were also more common on a Dodge van than the trucks!

This is a 1994 Dodge Dakota with only 40,000 original miles!!

Sunday we had the privilege of hosting Copperas Creek Fire Department and Timber Hollis Fire Department for some extraction training!!

And don’t worry, we made sure to have a supervisor on the property to keep these guys in line and safe! He even jumped in on the action and put a couple dents in a car!
