Public transportation is supported through a combination of local sales tax revenue, federal and state grants, passenger fares, and other revenue sources. Local funding is especially important because many federal capital grants require local matching dollars, helping bring additional investment into Stark County.

Understanding how transit is funded helps explain how we keep people connected to jobs, healthcare, education, and opportunities throughout our community.
