Here’s the schedule for Jets Over Kentucky 2026 for Friday and Saturday. Friday the Jets will fly from 10:am to 3:pm and then again from 4:30 until dark. The fireworks show will begin after dark. Tickets are $5 per person but those 12 and under are free. The tickets will good for re-entry on Friday and Saturday. On Saturday the Jets will begin flying at 10:am and will fly all day until 4:pm. We saw where the CKNJ newspaper had them listed as flying until 6:pm but that is not correct. All flying and the fireworks are subject to the weather conditions.

Mrs. Kentucky, Penny Horlander, came to Jets Over Kentucky 2026 today at the Taylor County Airport! And even though she already had a very nice outfit I think she is really gonna take it up a notch in that Taylor County Airport t-shirt! Okay, tomorrow is the day! Jets Over Kentucky 2026 opens to the public with the flying starting at 10:am! They will fly each day, Tuesday through Thursday from 10:am to 2:30 pm. There is a break in the afternoon and then they will start flying again at 4:30 pm and will fly until 8:30 pm. Your ticket will allow you to re-enter all day Tuesday thru Thursday. Tickets for Tue, Wed, and Thurs are $5 per person with kids 12 and under free!
Friday the 17th the Jets will start flying at 10:am and fly until 2:30 pm. They will begin flying again at 4:30 and then fly until about dark. After dark is when the fireworks begin! And it is a great fireworks show! On Saturday the 18th, they will begin flying at 10:am and fly all day long with no midday break, right up until 4:00 pm. The ticket you buy on Friday will be good for Friday and Saturday! Tickets for Friday and Saturday are $5 per person with kids 12 and under free!

Okay, here’s some more details… Jets Over Kentucky 2026 will open to the public on Tuesday July 14th. On July 14, 15, and 16 the jets will be flying from 10:am to 2:30 pm and then again from 4:30 to 8:30 pm. The price for entry is $5 per person with kids 12 and under getting in free. Your ticket allows you to leave and return for these 3 days.
On Friday the 17th the jets will be flying from 10:am to 2:30 pm and then they will start flying again at 4.30 and fly until dark. After dark there will be fireworks! Admission is also $5 per person on Friday with kids 12 and under free and your ticket is also good for Saturday the 18th. On Saturday the 18th the jets start flying at 10:am and fly all day until 8:30 pm! Whew! Lots of opportunities to come out and watch! Bring your lawn chairs and settle in and watch the best RC flyers in the world!

⏰ Time: Departures between 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM
📋 What to expect: Aircraft tour, flight instruction, and YOUR turn in the cockpit

This event is designed for middle and high school students who are curious about aviation — no experience required, just an open mind and a sense of adventure.
