And here’s a couple still pics of that amphibious Maule.

Here’s a cool plane from earlier this year. It’s a Maule on a set floats. It’s a true amphibious plane that can fly and land on water as well as pavement.

What type of maintenance did we have to do on our ramp and apron? Check out how nice this looks! Crack sealing and seal coating has been been completed by Reynolds Corporation and they did a great job! We are very grateful to the Kentucky Department of Aviation for underwriting this project which will help us see many more years of useful service life from this paved surface! Maintaining our facilities is the key to aiding in long service life!

Due to weather conditions the AirEvac Lifeteam helicopter was unable to land at the hospital. And even though our ramp/apron is closed for maintenance we were still able to accommodate them and the Campbellsville EMS. The helicopter landed on a concrete pad adjacent to the parking lot and the EMS crew got their patient loaded safely on the helicopter. Keep up the good work!

Is taking a ride in a P-51 on your bucket list? I know it’s on mine! But it’s gonna require my pockets to be a bit deeper than they are currently. Oh well, I’ll just keep on dreaming!

Not all the visitors here at the airport come in fast and sleek shiny packages! No idea where this little traveler was headed but for safety sake it was moved to greener grounds!
