“As brand new climbers who only dabbled in indoor bouldering, we opted for the full-day Acadia experience and truly can’t recommend it enough.”

Reviews like this mean a lot.

One of my favorite parts of guiding is introducing people to outdoor climbing for the first time and watching their confidence grow throughout the day.

Alyssa and Dmitry joined me for a full day in Acadia that included a multi-pitch climb in the morning and ocean-side climbing in the afternoon. They showed up curious, eager to learn, and ready for an adventure.

I’m grateful they trusted us with their first outdoor climbing experience and even more grateful for the opportunity to share this incredible place with them.

Thank you both for the kind words and for spending the day climbing with Equinox.

“You don’t do hard things because you know you can do them. You do them because you know you might not be able to.”

That feels pretty true to climbing.

A lot of the meaningful moments out here start with uncertainty — not knowing exactly how it’s going to go, but deciding to try anyway.

Over the past few weeks we’ve been spending long days on the rock here in Maine, and I’ve been feeling really grateful for all the people choosing to step outside their comfort zone and spend time climbing with us.

Summer is starting to feel fully underway.

June is filling up quickly and we’re looking forward to a busy season ahead.

A few moments from this past weekend out climbing at Clifton.

One of the things I appreciate most about climbing in Maine is how many different kinds of places it brings you to — quiet woods, coastal cliffs, long views, and days spent outside with good people.

Grateful for everyone who’s been coming out climbing with us this spring. The season is starting to feel fully underway.

Looking forward to a busy summer on the rock.

We’re fully into spring climbing season here in Maine.

Over the past few weeks we’ve been spending a lot of time back on the rock — long days in Camden, getting routes dry, moving through the woods again, and enjoying the return of warmer days on the cliffs.

Really looking forward to sharing the season with everyone who’s coming out to climb with us.

We’re offering both half days and full days this spring and summer, with instruction and guiding from our AMGA-certified team.

Hope to see you out on the rock soon.

Rainy days are a good reminder of how much nuance there is to climbing in a place like Camden.

The cliffs here don’t all dry the same. Some areas stay climbable sooner than you’d expect, while others take a bit more time depending on aspect, rock type, and how much water they hold.

A lot of what we do guiding here isn’t just teaching movement — it’s understanding the terrain, the conditions, and how to choose the right place on the right day.

That’s something that only really comes from spending time out here, season after season.

Looking forward to getting back on dry rock soon.

Thinking about trying rock climbing this summer?

A lot of people show up not totally sure what to expect — and that’s completely normal.

Whether it’s your first time outside or you’re looking to build skills, we spend the day meeting you where you’re at and helping you take the next step.

Camden and Acadia offer some incredible places to climb, and it’s a pretty special way to spend a day outside.

If it’s something you’ve been thinking about, this is a great time to get started.
