We have had the honor and privilege of organizing the English Countryside and Coast Tour for Author Julie Klassen and her wonderful readers. After 10 days exploring the beautiful English countryside, charming villages, historic sites, and stunning coastline, the tour has officially come to an end. It has been a joy to help bring the settings and inspiration behind Julie's beloved novels to life for her fans.
Thank you to Julie and everyone who joined her on this incredible journey. We are sure the memories made, friendships formed, and experiences shared will be treasured for years to come. Safe travels home, and we hope to see you on another adventure real soon!

A compilation of the last 2 days. Yesterday was exciting with Coos, a Loch Ness Cruise, and a gondola ride! Today was Glencoe, lunch in Killin with the beautiful cascading Falls of Dochart and our final visit of the trip to Stirling Castle. We are all exhausted but good exhausted! What an adventure! Super early to bed as most of us are on a 5.45am departure tomorrow morning. 😴

Today was a thought-provoking day.
We started with a bit of a somber visit to Culloden Battlefield, a place that still carries the weight of the events nearly three centuries ago. In my opinion the consequences of that day reached far beyond the Highlands and influenced and contributed to our American Revolution.
We visited Pluscarden Abbey, where we sat in on a service. Listening to the monks sing the service in Gregorian chant was a moving and memorable experience.
From there, we continued to Cawdor Castle and its beautiful gardens.
We ended our day at 4,000-year-old Clava Cairns. I always come away from Clava in awe of the ancient engineering and alignment of the stones with the solstices.

After a wonderful weapons demonstration by our guide, Hugh, our adventures continued at the Tarbat Discovery centre learning about pictish history, time for lunch and a stroll in Dornoch, a visit to Dunrobin Castle and finished the day watching for salmon at Shin Falls and a beautiful drive back to the hotel.

A bit more of our highlights from yesterday. We moved north after our morning distillery visit. Lunch and free time in Pitlochry followed by a visit to the Highland Folk Museum before checking in to Tulloch Castle hotel for 3 nights.

We had a fantastic Outlander Day on Sunday! Culross (Crainsmuir), the massive fireplace and some dress up at Doune Castle (Castle Leoch), Callendar House (The Duke of Sandringhams kitchen), Blackness Castle (Fort William), and of course Midhope (Lallybroch) plus so much more!

Some highlights from Saturday's day out to Aberdour Castle and Gardens, I popped into the adjacent 903 year old St. Fillan's church, then it was on to St. Andrews, and Falkland Palace..

It is a little known piece of history that Inveraray Castle in Scotland played a huge part in preparations for D-Day.

Let us all find a few moments today to remember, honor and appreciate the bravery and sacrifice of so many.
