For those of you that don’t know I am also a run streak runner with over 500 days of running consecutively. I also enjoy running races and this weekend was my second ever half marathon race! 🏃🏼‍♀️ 🏅 I took some time to enjoy my weekend and spend some quality time with my little family in the beautiful city of Traverse City, MI!!

It’s officially been one year since Universal Epic Universe opened, and wait times are looking pretty similar in 2026. While the biggest attractions are still pulling major lines, some fan-favorite rides are surprisingly manageable throughout the day.

Here’s your Epic Universe ride strategy cheat sheet ⬇️

🔥 HEADLINERS
Harry Potter and the Battle at the Ministry — 90–120+ min. Mine-Cart Madness — 110–120+ min 👉 Best time to ride: rope drop or late at night

⚡ HIGH DEMAND • Mario Kart: Bowser’s Challenge — 65–75 min (can spike to 100+)👉 Best time to ride: 11 AM–12 PM or after 9 PM

🎢 MID-TIER WAITS • Hiccup’s Wing Gliders — 45–60 min• Curse of the Werewolf — 50–70 min • Stardust Racers — 30–45 min • Dragon Racer’s Rally — 35–45 min👉 Best time to ride: morning or evening

✨ LOWER WAITS
Yoshi’s Adventure — 35–40 min • Monsters Unchained: The Frankenstein Experiment — 15–25 min • Fyre Drill — 10–20 min • Constellation Carousel — 5–20 min 👉 Best time to ride: 1–5 PM

TIPS: Monsters Unchained might be the BEST ride in the park, and a 15–25 minute wait is honestly a steal. Ride it multiple times if you can. Universal Epic Universe is still operating at lower capacity, with plans to increase it this year, so wait times could shift. We’ll keep you updated as things change.
