Another batch of composter teeth headed out.
These are 3/4” AR500 Steel.
Hardfacing wire with a minimum hardness of 55 Rc is welded onto the cutting edges.
For added wear resistance we use a process called Tungsten Carbide Weld Embedment where the Tungsten Carbide is sprinkled into the molten weld puddle.
Not the prettiest thing in the world but these suckers hold up great!
