Thank you to the voters of Wexford County for your support in renewing the Cadillac Wexford Transit Authority millage. Your confidence in our mission allows us to continue providing safe, reliable, and accessible transportation for the people who depend on us every day.

To our riders—thank you for trusting us to be part of your daily lives. Whether we're helping you get to work, medical appointments, school, shopping, or connecting you with family and friends, it is an honor to serve you.

To our incredible staff—this success is a reflection of your dedication. Your professionalism, compassion, and commitment to serving our community are the reasons people continue to believe in CWTA. Thank you for everything you do, every single day.

We also want to thank our Board of Directors, community partners, and everyone who took the time to vote. We remain committed to being responsible stewards of your tax dollars, using this local investment to leverage additional state and federal funding that benefits Wexford County.

📚❤️ A special shoutout to our amazing driver, Bernie!

Bernie recently received the sweetest handmade card from the preschoolers in our Head Start program after they fell in love with the book Don’t Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus! Every child signed the card, making it an extra-special surprise.

Bernie goes above and beyond for his riders, even purchasing books for the bus aide to read during their trips. His kindness and dedication make a lasting impact on his riders.

We are so lucky to have people like Bernie on the WexExpress team! Thank you, Bernie, for all you do. 🚌💙

Heads up: we are currently experiencing a phone outage with our phone company. We will post another update one we have one.

Our mobile app and online booking page is still available for rides until we have a resolution for an our phone system.

🚧 🦺 Heads up: Road commissions are shutting down roads due to flooding and sink holes due to the extra water levels and rain incoming. We are still running full service, however some roads may be impassable due to the road closures and damage due to the extra water build up.

Please bear with us as we navigate the uncertainty of some road conditions. It our intent to keep everyone safe from Passengers to Drivers.

We do have the ability to book a ride and move a pin pick up location if you need us to meet you at a corner if your road is closed. Please reach out to our dispatch team directly at 231-779-0123 text or call. 🚧 🦺
