2026 World Cup Service Update
The FIFA World Cup 2026™ will take place across the United States, Canada and Mexico from June 11 through July 19, 2026, and is expected to draw large numbers of visitors. As a result, host cities are implementing temporary traffic adjustments, security measures, and road closures around the venues.
While FedEx operations will run normally across our network, these external, city-mandated changes may cause temporary pickup and delivery adjustments in areas closest to the stadiums. Our local operations teams will be actively monitoring conditions and working diligently to complete deliveries and pickups wherever safe access is permitted.

Delays will be temporary and highly localized to ZIP/postal codes immediately surrounding the stadiums in these host cities:
United States: Atlanta, GA; Boston, MA; Dallas, TX; Houston, TX; Kansas City, MO; Los Angeles, CA; Miami, FL; New York/New Jersey; Philadelphia, PA; San Francisco/Bay Area, CA; Seattle, WA
Canada: Toronto, Vancouver
Mexico: Guadalajara, Mexico City, Monterrey

Customers shipping to or from areas near stadiums are encouraged to:
Allow flexibility in pickup and delivery timing on event days, as some host city traffic restrictions may fluctuate throughout the tournament.
Plan ahead if shipping time-sensitive items during match dates in the affected host cities.
