This park is great for family activity, and has nearly 19 miles of hiking trails. The inn, modern cabins and restaurant provide excellent amenities to visitors, and the nearby lakes provide great opportunity for boating, swimming, and fishing. Before you rush out the door on your next hiking adventure, don’t forget the 7 hiking essentials:
• Water
• Food & snacks
• Navigation (we recommend downloading the Avenza app)
• First aid kit
• Extra clothing/layers
• Flashlight or headlamp
• Emergency supplies/tools
