💚 As August comes to a close, thank you for riding with us. 🚌

This month included new schedules, back-to-school preparation, the wrap-up of Summer of Fun Wristbands, and community events across our service area. We appreciate being part of your journey.

In July, GMT provided 108,977 rides across our system. Thank you for choosing transit, planning ahead, and helping keep our communities connected.

Our bad — we messed up when Hunt Middle School lets out. 🚌

We found a few errors in the printed Bus Map & Guide and want to make sure riders have the correct information:

📍 #7 North Avenue
We added this late, and it did not make it into the printed guide: the 8:45 AM trip from the Downtown Transit Center to Burlington High School.

📍 #349 Neighborhood Special
The afternoon pick-up times and accompanying time points need to be pushed back by 5 minutes.

📍 Additional #7 trip
The printed guide lists an additional #7 trip from Burlington High School to the Downtown Transit Center at 3:25 PM. This trip should also be pushed back by 5 minutes.

Please double-check your schedule before riding, especially if you are traveling to or from Burlington High School or Hunt Middle School.

Today’s the day! New GMT schedules are now in effect.

Riders should review their route and stop before traveling. This schedule update includes Neighborhood Specials returning with additional trips, reduced service on the #4 Essex Junction, a new schedule for the #96, new routing for the #9, and 20-minute service returning on the #2, #6, and #7.

A new schedule for the #96 begins Monday, August 24.

As part of this update, underutilized stops in Colchester will close. This change will help create faster afternoon trips, saving riders about 10 minutes on the return trip.

Riders should carefully review the updated schedule before traveling, including:
• Updated stop times
• Where to board
• Connections
