Remembering Frank Brendel

It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of Frank Brendel III.

Frank was the younger brother to Patty Brendel/Sharp whom many of you know and call friend. He was the co-owner of Hendricks Creek Resort, and his loss is deeply felt.

Anyone who had the privilege of knowing him knew he brought kindness, laughter, and a genuine spirit of care to everything he did, and he will be greatly missed.

During this difficult time, our thoughts are with the Brendel family, friends, and loved ones as they mourn the loss of a loved one.

We are grateful for your understanding and support as we honor his memory.

During the service on Monday August 17th, 2026 we will have limited staff available. Should the need arise, please be patient with us during this time.

Happy 4th of July!🇺🇸

While we are very thankful for the people who have visited today, we want to make sure that everyone has a permit for parking! "This permit allows us to know whose vehicle is whose, and a way to contact them should the need arise."

Our daily permits are located at the boat ramp in an honor box as well as the office.

Our Red permits are strictly for our annual moorage customers. "They must be on the windshield."

Our Blue permits are for anyone that wants to pay for an annual parking pass or launch. "They must be on the windshield as well."

We started the process a year ago. Today we are stepping up to make sure your parked in the correct location.

We are here to serve each of you to the best of our abilities!
