PUBLIC SAFETY ANNOUNCEMENT: SIMULATED EXERCISE

The Laughlin/Bullhead International Airport’s Fire Department, with coordination with the Bullhead City and Fort Mojave/Mesa Fire Districts, will be conducting an FAA-mandated exercise on January 6th, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. This exercise will provide a safe and controlled environment to train our local first responders and further enhance the airports readiness capabilities in the event of a disaster. MCAA, in Partnership with the Laughlin Bullhead Air Show, is hosting our annual Young Eagles Event on Saturday, November 11th, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.! Children between the ages of 8-17 can take a free ride and see their community from the sky! The Laughlin Bullhead Air Show is committed to promoting STEM programs and inspiring our local youth toward an aviation career.

Last week, the Laughlin/Bullhead International Airport’s Fire Dept. conducted interdepartmental training with the Bullhead City Fire Dept. and Fort Mojave Mesa Fire Dept. Their training consisted of airport familiarization and how the three departments can operate more closely as a team in the event of an emergency.
