If you need access to your boat and it is located on one of the currently inaccessible docks, please let us know before 4:30 PM TODAY.

We will be CLOSED tomorrow, Saturday, August 8, in celebration of Rod’s life. We will not be available to es**rt anyone to their boats tomorrow.

⏰ Please notify us by 4:30 PM TODAY if you will need access to your boat.

It is with incredibly heavy hearts that we share the loss of one of our own.

Our dear friend, coworker, and part of the Almond Boat & RV Park family, Rod White, has gone home to be with the Lord.

If you knew Rod, you loved Rod. Around here, many of you knew him as “Ramp Patch.” He was one of a kind. Whether he was greeting customers, lending a helping hand, or breaking into one of his famous raps, he had a way of making everyone laugh. He never seemed to have a bad day and always showed up with the biggest smile. Rod had a gift for lifting people up, and he was one of our biggest cheerleaders.

He truly loved being at the boat dock, and he made sure everyone knew it. His laughter, jokes, and contagious spirit filled this place every single day. Things just won’t be the same without him, but we are so thankful for the memories he gave us and the joy he brought into so many lives.

To celebrate Rod’s life and honor a man who meant so much to us, Almond Boat & RV Park will be closed on Saturday, August 8th.

We appreciate your understanding, your prayers, your support, and all of the kind messages we’ve already received. Most of all, we ask that you please keep Linda, his boys, his grandbabies, and all who loved him in your prayers as they walk through this unimaginable loss.

Until we meet again, Rod… thank you for every laugh, every smile, every rap, and every memory. Heaven gained a good one, and we know you’re already making everyone up there smile.

We’ll miss you more than words can say. ❤️

⚠️ Dock Update – Please Read ⚠️

Hey everyone! As many of you know, we had severe weather move through yesterday evening.

The good news is all of the boats are safe. However, our docks took a significant hit, and unfortunately they are not safe to walk on at this time.

If you need to access your boat, please come with patience. A member of our team will need to es**rt you to your boat or bring your boat to you, as the docks are currently inaccessible.

**If you have a pontoon rental scheduled for tomorrow, don’t worry! Your rental will still be available. **

At this time, we do not have power, so gas and ice will NOT be available until service is restored.

If you do NOT need to use your boat tomorrow, we kindly ask that you wait another day if possible. This will help us focus on cleanup efforts and assist those who absolutely need access.

Thank you all for your patience, understanding, and support as we work to get everything back up and running. We are incredibly thankful no one was hurt, and we’ll continue to post updates as we have more information.
