Taking a stroll through downtown, you will pass by a tiny but mighty little hot dog spot that has some of the best small town hospitality as well as no frills, affordable eats.

While Sam's Hot Dog Stand - Waynesboro, VA is known for their hot dogs (with all the fixins you could want), their BBQ really is a must try. It’s slightly smoky, deliciously juicy, and can be topped with slaw.

Battered onion rings were the side of choice and paired perfectly with the sandwich. Always freshly dropped just as their fries are to order. A sandwich, onion rings, and drink cost a little over $10 (after tax).

If you ever find your way through Waynesboro, Sam’s is definitely a SMALL, locally owned business worth checking out! If nothing else, we are sure you will leave with a smile. 😀
