Meet Michael, Our Newest Certified Flight Instructor at Tidal!

Michael discovered his love for flying after taking his first flight in 2024 and hasn’t looked back.
Since then, he attended ATP Flight School, where he earned his CFI, CFII, and MEI. After completing his ratings, he was hired on as an instructor with ATP in Utah and is passionate about helping students achieve their aviation dreams while sharing the joy of flying.

Originally from Colorado, he enjoys being outdoors—whether fishing, exploring nature, or spending quality time with family—and is excited to bring energy, enthusiasm, and a love of flight to every student he has the privilege to teach at Tidal Aviation. He’d love to guide your experience in the world’s best-selling aircraft! Now instructing at our Brookshire/Katy (KTME) location!

Big milestone for Andrew as he completed his first solo flight at Houston Executive Airport! As a father of three, business owner, and optometrist, he stayed committed to a goal he had dreamed about for years every time he looked to the sky.

Now, after taking the controls on his own for the first time, he’s already focused on the next step: earning his Private Pilot Certificate. Great work, Andrew! The journey is just getting started!

Logan’s path into aviation started in 2022, while he was running the family business, when he decided to take a discovery flight. That single experience shifted everything and set him on the path to becoming a pilot.

After graduating from Texas Tech University with a degree in Wildlife Biology, he completed his flight training at ATP Flight School, earning his CFI, CFII, and MEI certificates. Now at Tidal, Logan brings that same enthusiasm into every lesson as he trains the next generation of pilots.

Years of dreaming led to a big milestone.
Leon has officially earned his Private Pilot Certificate after putting in the hard work and dedication it takes to reach this goal. Along the way, he trained in one of our 2025 Cirrus SR22 G7 aircraft, turning a lifelong dream of becoming a pilot into reality.

Next up, he’s already looking ahead to Instrument training.
