And just like that itā€™s on!! Crazy fall run fishing on todayā€™s open boat with bass to 50ā€, a couple dozen big fish easy. Live bait and big plugs were the ticket. We were supposed to be Tuna fishing today and every day till the 15th but canceled all our trips because the tuna biteā€™s terrible- but the bass fishingā€™s great, and we have plenty of availability! Book a trip at www.rockfishcharters.com or call 247-661-4501 šŸ¤˜

Another fun day with mark verrastro & the boys this morning going 4/4 on Yellowfin. They had to work for their bites but they kept jigging hard and put a respectable catch together on a tough day šŸ¦¾

Chris booked us back in January for his annual tuna trip with us & picked the right day! The yellowfin finally came in good & they went 8/10 with a mix of jigging & trolling & even a popper fish. Real fun size light tackle fighters they should be around for a while. And they even brought the right amount of coolers lol. Grab those last charter dates at www.rockfishcharters.com

Had Curtis & the gang back out with us today, this time for a Tuna trip. We got there in the dark but the bite was finicky till noon & they managed to end the day 4/5 with a mix of Yellowfin & Bluefin. Way to stick it out guys!

Man I woulda be you a million bucks that we were gonna cream em today. No other boats out, no one fished yesterday, sh*tty weather, tons of bait, and we hooked up on the 1st drop! Took a sec to get things dialed in going 1/4 and then it just kinda died.. Got a couple albies and that was it. Had to get the guys back early for a wedding and the clock ran out on us. Tomorrows another day šŸ¤˜

We had a fun 3 generation trip today getting a mix of Bluefin & Yellowfin. Jack & Joe fished with us for Bass back in June and came back to catch his 1st Tuna with Mom along this time. Heā€™s a beast on the rod & can cast a popper further than most adults (at 12 yrs old lol!) Looks like tomorrowā€™s trip is blown out but weā€™ll be back asap. Grab one of our remaining dates at www.rockfishcharters.com šŸ¤˜

We had ourselves a DAY today going 7/12 on a nice mix of Yellowfin & Bluefin! After a scary ride through the inlet in P-soup fog this morning we ran right into a feed and had tuna busting around the boat. A couple scoops of peanuts kept em going & it was double headers & releases till the bite slowed down. The highlight of the trip was hooking a big Mako catching huge air almost jumping in the boat! Back at it tomorrow, weā€™re almost sold out for the year grab those remaining trips before theyā€™re gone: www.rockfishcharters.com

Awesome morning with big Bo & his dad John who drove down from Boston for a taste of NYC Tuna fishing! The last couple days have been real hit or miss but we got on em right away and managed our limit before noon. We even got to see some kind of rocket on the way out to the grounds this morning šŸ¤˜
Septemberā€™s almost booked up grab those dates quick if you wanna fish with us before we start basing again: www.rockfishcharters.com

Had Joe & friends out today for a jigging trip. The weather was all over the place & so was the fishing. Got a nice YF 1st thing and dropped a 60ā€ class BF at the boat. Then ground it out for a few hours in the rain and finished the trip with another Bluefin in perfect weather šŸ¤˜
Thnx for fishing hard guys & next time bring rain gear lol
