The twelfth KMX K-3 arrived today from Iowa. Some final assembly work is needed and it will be ready for the 2027 riding season.

1 from Wyoming
2 from New York
2 from Iowa
4 from Massachusetts

… and none from Minnesota.

Planetary drive systems are pretty cool. They are simple in concept but complicated mechanically. They are a little on the expensive side.

This drive can provide a wider range of gear ratios than the standard 3-ring crank. Shifting is done by a silver button on the axle. It’s a great way to learn shifting without the complications of a front derailleur.

I am so ready to ride when the weather gets warmer. It has been a little cool.

June 3rd is World Bike Day and will be the official start of the riding season for Special Eddie’s.

Right now I have to go by through each trike and bike and make sure they are ready for the season.

New addition. My yellow Anura is a very comfortable trike and I couldn’t pass on this Greenspeed Anura I found locally.

It is the most advanced and upgraded trike in my fleet.

It is definitely perfect for newbies, but with over $1,000 in options and upgrades, it is not a strong recommendation as a first time trike purchase.
