Sue, the woman who was only a room away when this massive tree fell through her house, called upon us to come salvage what we could from the rubble that was once her home, and deliver it to her temporary house.
Sue's family. We helped her move here from Fresno, California years ago. Since then, we have helped her repair computer problems, rearrange the furniture, and even hung a few pictures here and there.
She was in her office the day this fell through her home which shared walls with her bedroom. It crashed directly over her bed - over where she would have been sleeping if this tree were to have fallen at night, or during the hours she relaxes and naps during the day. How crazy and fortunate we are that it fell when it did.
We're honored that we constantly get called to work when times can be chaotic and uncertain for others.
