Daryl Thomason Trucking Inc. Founded in 1978 by Daryl and Shelly Thomason,
Starting with one truck and currently have over We are able to transport 48,000 lbs. to 50,000 lbs.

Our equipment consists of 2018 and newer Freightliner tractors, pulling 53' aluminum flatbed trailers with capability of hauling 60' length material. We supply each flatbed trailer with 14 permanent belts and 2 portable belts along with a complete set of 6' drop tarps. In addition, we equip each truck as needed with chains and binders. per shipment on our flat bed trailers.

Regional Safety Manager Parker S. explains how taking a few moments to submit photos of your load and securement can make a big difference. By sending in photos before hitting the road, drivers and contractors give our Safety Team the opportunity to identify and address potential issues before they become violations, delays, or costly mistakes.

Since implementing the photo submission process, our Safety Department has helped drivers and contractors avoid unnecessary expenses and compliance issues so keep the photos coming! We're here to support you every mile of the way

We are glad we had the opportunity to celebrate DMT’s 2025 Contractor of the Year, Chip L., recently in Camden!

Chip runs out of the Camden terminal and works closely with Driver Manager Larry H. Since joining the team in January 2024, he has made an immediate impact through his consistency, productivity, and strong work ethic.

With more than 20 years in the trucking industry, Chip has built a reputation for reliability and a willingness to step up when the job needs to get done. He regularly takes on available loads and often stays out a couple of weekends each month, helping drive strong results for both himself and the team. His performance was highlighted early on by earning top revenue in January.

Beyond the numbers, Chip represents what it means to be a true professional on the road, showing pride in every load and dedication in everything he does.

Tim M. out on the road representing DMT with a clean truck and proper securement. In April, Tim achieved an incredible milestone by setting his personal best monthly earnings to date. Congratulations to Hope D. on being named DMT’s May Driver of the Month!

Hope has been in trucking for over 20 years and joined DMT in 2025, bringing a wealth of experience and dedication to the team. He is committed to safety and consistently goes above and beyond to protect others on the road, as well as himself and his load. He runs out of our Birmingham terminal with Driver Manager Demisha H., who shared that he is dependable, professional, and focused on the road.

When he is not on the road, Hope enjoys spending time with his family and sharing his faith. He is a pastor at his church in his hometown in Louisiana, where he continues to serve and make a positive impact in his community.
