Lots of steps. Lots of fun. LOTS of sweat equity. 😂

Today I toured Hilton Cancun, Waldorf Astoria Cancun and Hilton Cancun Mar Caribe as part of my behind-the-scenes site inspections.

Because when I recommend a resort, I want to know what it’s really like to be there!

And yes… Cancun is HOT. 🥵 But I’m not complaining! 😉

Bright and early and it’s travel day! ✈️

I’m headed to Tulum for a few days of site inspections — touring resorts, checking out rooms, experiencing the service, and gathering all the little details you don’t always see online.

Because when I recommend a resort to my clients, I want to know more than what’s on the website. I want firsthand experience.

So while this may look like a vacation, there’s definitely some work involved. 😉

And honestly? It’s my favorite kind of work.

Happy Birthday to my favorite travel partner. ❤️

I’m pretty sure when you took your first flight with me in your early 20s, you had absolutely no idea how many adventures I was about to drag you on.

Since then, we’ve shared countless cruises, explored every Hawaiian island, experienced the beauty of Alaska, visited nearly every Caribbean island, traveled through half the states, and now we’re getting ready for our third trip to Europe.

Through delayed flights, early morning alarms, long road trips, and more airport terminals than we can count, you’ve never stopped saying, “Where to next?”

Thank you for always saying yes to the adventure, for making every trip more fun, and for being my favorite person to see the world with.

Happy Birthday! Here’s to many more stamps in our passports, memories we’ll never forget, and adventures still waiting for us. I can’t wait to see where we go next. ❤️✈️🌎🥂

The other day, I had a call with a potential client, and he asked me a question I’ve never forgotten:

‘Why should I hire you?’

It was a fair question.

You’ll hear me joke that I make ‘tens of dollars’ as a travel agent. 😂 And honestly? It’s a little more than that… but if I were doing this for the money, I would’ve quit a long time ago.

This career isn’t about posting pretty beach pictures and waiting for commissions to roll in.

It’s late nights researching destinations. It’s answering texts while my own family is eating dinner. It’s tracking flight changes, advocating for clients, and solving problems before they ever know they existed.

I don’t get paid when someone books. I get paid after they travel. Sometimes months later.

The truth is, I’m not in this industry because it’s the easiest way to make money.

I’m in it because travel has always been my passion.

There is nothing better than helping someone experience a place they’ve dreamed about for years, watching families make lifelong memories, or hearing a client say, “That was the best vacation we’ve ever taken.”

That’s why I keep learning. That’s why I visit resorts. That’s why I ask a million questions. That’s why I genuinely care where I send my clients.

Travel isn’t just what I sell.

It’s what I love.
