✈️ A Timeless Beauty Visits Mecklenburg Brunswick Regional Airport!

Today we had the pleasure of welcoming this stunning 1953 Cessna 195 to Mecklenburg Brunswick Regional Airport (AVC).

Often considered one of the most beautiful single-engine aircraft ever built, the Cessna 195 combines classic styling with an unmistakable round-engine sound that turns heads wherever it lands. Built during aviation's golden age, this aircraft continues to capture the hearts of pilots and aviation enthusiasts more than 70 years later.

We always enjoy seeing unique visitors stop by our airport, and this one certainly didn't disappoint!

✈️ Weekend Visitor at the Airport!

This beautiful vintage warbird stopped by over the weekend to grab some fuel and stretch its wings. Wearing classic U.S. Marine Corps training colors, this aircraft is a great reminder of the incredible history behind many of the airplanes still flying today.

It’s not every day we get to see a piece of aviation heritage taxi onto our ramp. Thanks to the crew for stopping in — safe travels and we hope to see you again soon!
