Starting out 2021 season a little earlier this year. Broke ground and planted some garden peas and sugar snap peas. A first time for these.. looking forward to seeing them grow!

Time to post a few pictures!! Last week we planted a few sunflower seed and purple hull crowder peas, and peaches and cream corn in Patch #2. Or was that 2 weeks ago? Time is flying by. The mosaic corn has taken off! The cucumber vines and squash vines are huge! We have harvested about 1 1/2 five gallon buckets full of crooked neck squash and just a few cucumbers.. so it is starting to produce. And so excited about how the green beans and butter beans look... and there is no way to count the amount of tomatoes!! Wow!

The garden is coming along nicely... a little grass attack this afternoon. Planted some okra as well! We got the garden started a little late but glad to have some little squash and tomatoes making an appearance! The corn, sweet potatoes, and zinnias still need chopping but we got a lot accomplished!

Garden is looking great! We chopped some w**ds a little, fertilized the corn and sweet potatoes, and enjoyed seeing our animal visitor!🌽🍠🐢

Here are a few babies that have popped up since last weekend!😁 We are happy.😆 and yes, we see all the GrAsS. Lol. We will be doing a bit of w**d chopping tomorrow or Wed night. 👀 if you have a hoe and want to clear a little bit of grass, holler at me. Lynette King. Here's a few pictures.

Phase 1 - completed last weekend. Too wet for anything this weekend. Last weekend, just in time before all of the rain...! Perfect! We are so grateful for all the help that we have received from people already.. help with giving us some plants, making up the garden, repairing a minor issue with our tractor, planted the plants and seeds with us, and fertilize, and water...and the best of all...pray for a bountiful crop to feed a lot of people. Phase 1 - complete. We have another area plowed, ready to get hilled up for some more plants/seeds but it looks like with all the rain we had and the rain that's coming, it might be a little bit. No worries, it's going to be great!! 💦🌱🍅🌽🌶🥒🚜🌞

Hi friends/family! Welcome to our new page for our project that most of you know we started to help assist our local people with food needs. Our economy has obviously has taken a huge hit for a lot of people and we want to give how we can. God spoke to us about it, and without a tractor or land, we stepped out in faith, obtained a tractor and here we go! We ask for prayers for a bountiful harvest, good weather, and volunteers for care of the garden. We all are here to serve and be the Hands and Feet of Jesus.
We have planted several different vegetables and plan to reach out to churches and other Christian outreach programs for guidance for distribution.
