The sound of a dry launch! The A&R Concordias were built tight seamed with a thin strand of cotton down the middle to make them water tight. After decades of compression, the cotton was no longer doing its job and launches were wet, really wet. We ran a router bit down the seams to open them up a bit and then caulked the seams with cotton to tighten up the hull and make launches less stressful. 🤞
