‼️ Take note!

Starting Monday, June 15, the Livingston County Road Commission will be closing Kensington Road just south of the Grand River Avenue intersection. The closure is expected to last until mid‑July. During this time, the only vehicle access to the park will be from the south.

If you're coming from I‑96, use Exit 153 (Kent Lake Road).
If you're coming from US‑23, use Exit 55 (Silver Lake Road).

On nice days, consider parking at the Mall Trailhead near JCPenney and walking or biking into the park—it's a great alternative.

For GPS directions to park entrance, use: 6301 Kensington Road, Brighton, MI 48116.

For more information about the road closure, please contact the Livingston County Road Commission.

Did you know that the Brighton Optimist Club’s Fishing Derby for kids has been an annual event at the Brighton Millpond since 1987?! 🎣

Let’s help support this amazing and fun event for families and kids! 😎 Charity Bicycles will be there TOMORROW, on the 13th.
💙 We will be:
- Helping kids decorate bikes (Red, White, & Blue) and sign up for the 4th of July Parade. 🇺🇸
- Will have some bike safety give aways 🚲

Bait and limited number of loaner fishing poles provided. Pizza and prizes for fish caught.
