It's time to get to the Friends Boat Rental this weekend. We will be open from 11 am to 7 pm Saturday & Sunday so you can have fun out on the water. The False White Indigo are greeting folks to Lake Darling Park as you round the corner and see the lake! They are bright white and part of the native prairie along the upper part of the lake. You will also see the Eastern Fleabane with the yellow flower center and multiple white petals along the road and in the prairie areas. An unusual prairie plant the Tall Meadow Rue is found over at the group camp area near the picnic table overlooking the lake.

THIS IS THE LAST WEEK TO BUY KAYAK RAFFLE TICKETS. SALES CLOSE MAY 31st. We will draw the two winners at a ribbon cutting on Saturday June 13th at 10:30. The Kayak Launch has been installed & is now ready for use at main boat ramp area. The first people to use the launch were Sarah Reitz & Jesse McPherson! You can see it in use in the 3rd photo. Thanks to our members donations, a grant from the Washington County Riverboat Foundation and you buying raffle tickets we made it!
