What a way to wrap up a great weekend!

A huge thank you to our keynote speaker, Bruno Brasileiro with Fly With Bruno, for hanging out with the MSPA crew and sharing his story with us.

Bruno took us along for the ride, from growing up in Brazil and building a career in advertising, to moving to America, becoming a pilot, and eventually turning his love of aviation into some pretty incredible YouTube adventures. He shared stories from flying all across the United States, crossing borders and oceans visiting other countries, meeting people along the way, and seeing some amazing places from the cockpit. Lots of great stories, plenty of laughs, and a pretty cool reminder of where a love of aviation can take you.

Thanks for making the trip to Minnesota, Bruno! We had a blast having you with us and hope to see you in the air !

Past and present presidents of the Minnesota Seaplane Pilots Association, Randy, Joe, Ben and Steve!

Most folks don’t realize how much work goes on behind the scenes to keep MSPA going and put on great events like the Safety Seminar and Pig Roast. These guys have done a lot of the heavy lifting over the years and continue to step up and support the organization even after leaving office.

A huge thank you to all four of you for everything you’ve done and continue to do for MSPA and our seaplane community.

Can’t wait to see you at the next event, scallywags! 🏴‍☠️✈️🌊

The seaplane world truly lost an icon.

Wip spent a lifetime proving that just about any airplane is better with a couple of floats underneath it.

But his real legacy is much bigger than airplanes. Wip was humble, generous, full of life, and always had a story to tell, usually a good one and occasionally one that probably shouldn’t be repeated.

He built an incredible company, helped shape an entire corner of aviation, and made a whole lot of friends along the way.

Our thoughts are with the Wiplinger family and everyone at Wipaire.

Thanks for everything, Wip. You made aviation a hell of a lot more fun.

May the skys be blue , the winds at your back and the docks have plenty of room wherever you land next.
